Guinea in pictures

In a recent Facebook post, you will know that our family were in four countries on Sunday. Simon was in France en route to Guinea, Joshua in Australia, Zara in the Netherlands (visiting friends from our Uganda days) and me here in Scotland. Thankfully, it was short-lived, as Zara and I are back together again :)

Simon sent some photos of an overnight trip he did this week. I love seeing the resourcefulness of the people. I am not sure we would get away with this in Scotland.  However, the roads do look better than our Scottish ones ;)

If you can't fit in the car then the top will do

Simon's home for the night

Disused control tower.  Supposedly only in operation for one year after construction

Disused runway.  Built and used for one year and then rehabilitated during the Ebola crisis only to be abandoned once the crisis was over.

Always room for one more

Any size can be added to any car - just need to be able to balance well.
