Simon has been in Uganda for the last week renewing his license. He had to pass a medical, sit an exam and then complete 6 hours of flying. The first two are checked off the list and this week he will spend some time in the air. Please give thanks with us that he passed the necessary exam and that he will be able to help out in this programme and in South Sudan in the future.
Every day he has been sharing photos of his time there. It is making Zara homesick for one of her "homes". It is interesting to see how some things have changed and other things that have remained the same. However, it does make us thankful for the time we spent there. The amazing people we met as well as all the experiences.
On another note please pray for Joshua as he fractured his left elbow playing basketball. He has an appointment at the fracture clinic tomorrow (Tuesday). Pray for wisdom for the doctor and for Joshua as they work out the best course of treatment for it. He also has exams and assignments at University this week. Pray that he will be able to get through everything despite the inconvenience of a fractured elbow especially the practical assignments.
