Flooding
Many of you have been asking about the flooding in Uganda. If you follow this BBC link http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/africa/7014227.stm you will see pictures and read the extent to which people are suffering at the moment. There are more rains expected this month but we hope to see a drier November.

I forgot to mention in my last comment that I really like the new look of your blog! Very nice!
I also wanted to say "thanks" for how you designed your blog. I discovered a program through one of your links from Moody and it now is a part of my daily routine. Out of curiousity, how big was that lizard in your garden?
Glad you like the new look of the blog. We have gone from the cold Scottish blue to the warm African brown/orange theme.
The lizard wasn't so big maybe about 30cm long from head to tail but it was the colours that really fascinated us as we hadn't seen that type before. Also don't normally get so close.
